Meet Christine Ramos
Christine Ramos (nee, Stefaniak), was born in Oak Lawn, Illinois, at Christ Hospital, which is why her parents, Stanley and Helen, chose Christine for her name. She began the first five years of her life in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in Chicago with her older sisters, Alice and Linda, but mostly grew up on the far southwest side of Chicago, attending St. Bede the Venerable Grade School.
After graduating tenth in her class from Bogan High School, Christine attended St. Xavier University and received her BA in Music Education in 1985, with a double major in voice and pipe organ. She has been an educator/director of music in Catholic schools and parishes for over 36 years. For the past six years, her most recent position has been as the Director of Religious Education at St. Patricia Parish in Hickory Hills. Now she devotes her time in writing books for the glory of the Holy Trinity.
Later in life, Christine married Paul, a widower and father of four, in May of 2016. They currently live on the far southwest side of Chicago with their furry “boyz”, Samson, Louie, and Schubert, next door to the home where she had grown up.
Paul and Christine are the proud grandparents of their ten beautiful grandchildren!
